ABOUT ME
Dan Osman is an attorney licensed to practice in Missouri. He has more than five years experience with the Human Relations Department of the City of Kansas City, Missouri focusing on workforce and MBE, WBE, DBE and SLBE development.
For four years, Dan Osman was Kansas City’s sole Affirmative Action compliance officer for Tax Increment Financing (TIF) and Land Clearance Redevelopment Authority (LCRA) projects. He tracked, monitored and enforced contractual obligations on hundreds of projects worth several billion dollars. During his time with the City, Osman helped develop and ensure passage of the current Workforce Ordinance for the City of KCMO. He also created and presented a two hour Continuing Legal Education seminar on compliance with Affirmative Action policies.

Today, Dan Osman applies these economic development skills as a Affirmative Action Compliance Specialist for construction companies and developers, as well as an advisor to minority and women owned businesses. Having previously set and enforced these goals, he understands the Affirmative Action requirements of government contracts and can ensure their full and timely compliance.
In his personal time, Osman serves as a Director of the Hickman Mills C-1 school district. In this capacity, he oversees an annual budget of almost $80 million. He also oversees the district’s superintendent and staff of 1,000, and safeguards the well being of 6,500+ students.
